Rex Zhang, General Manager at OneInfinity by OneDegree, Alvin Kwock, co-founder of OneDegree, and Michelle Ip, Group Managing Director at OneDegree Group, were named the three FinTech laureates in the 4th BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize. They were recognised for pioneering work in digital-asset insurance and generative AI security.
Rex leads digital insurance innovation and product development, integrating traditional insurance frameworks with fintech, Web3 and cybersecurity. Alvin advances integrated cybersecurity and insurance solutions, including a risk taxonomy for blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies and practical approaches to risk detection and reduction that help make emerging technologies insurable.
Michelle develops generative AI security capabilities spanning real-time cybersecurity assessments, red teaming, adversarial validation, real-time monitoring and guardrail solutions.
